About

Lovely to meet you.

My name is Elise and I've been working in the mental health field for almost a decade! I am passionate and dedicated to this field, and I hope this shines through the work we do together.

I'm acutely aware of the issues in this field and how frustrating and frightening therapy can be to start. I find joy in working with people who have never been to therapy, as well as people who have been in therapy for years, but have never found someone they truly connect with in treatment.

See my Services page for more information on my therapy style.

my story

I was 17,  sitting in a psych ward after my second suicide attempt, when the universe told me very clearly that I was going to become a therapist. My first thought was, "F---, that's a lot of school."

Since that cloudy day, I'm proud to have achieved that calling. After a decade of hard work, self-reflection, and a dedicated passion to this field, I have stepped into my role as the sole clinician and owner of my own practice!

I worked at the Lafayette MHA Crisis Line starting in 2013, graduating Purdue University with a Bachelors in Psychological Sciences and a minor in Fine Arts in 2017. I went right on to graduate with my Masters in Art Therapy from IUPUI in 2019.

I currently live in Indianapolis with my two dogs, two cats, and my wonderful husband. I have a lot of tattoos and many more planned. I believe in debunking social media misinformation and the power of memes to explain human experience. I am also really glad they brought lime skittles back.
